Lets start off with this, I been here for seven years... I have A LOT of catching up to do -__- so..

I am an artist, working hard to become a professional into owning my own business.(self taught artist)

I have many talents under my sleeve- Black and white photography, Artist(drawing/painting) Needlework and now trying my hand on fashion designing(actually making the clothing instead of just drawing it lol)
I also do a little literature poetry but to be honest it has been a while since I wrote something.

I am working very hard to keep productive in my craft and that is really my mission Being more focused to get better at my skills while building my portfolio.

I find Art to be my only escape from the troubles I have endured and It heals me and keeps me sane- to create and make others happy and vice versa.

When you get a chance you can peep the gallery. I return the favor and browse your also. I also thank you for taking the time to do so, :D thank you once more and have a wonderful day/night!

New work will be up... until then just feel free to browse around and please be kind enough to drop a comment- it wouldn't hurt much and If you want to be friends that's fine too Would love to see others work and learn from others.
Well as the title states this is all about improvement for: doing a job and preforming it right. Everyone wants improvement at some point in time and this is just a little reminder for paying a bit more attention to the little things that can make a difference; either taking good pictures, editing the photo or life itself. I have a  preference when it comes to photography, rather than using any other device I would always use the regular-the camera. why? because that is it's exact purpose. However desperate calls for desperate measures and in using an alternate- using my phone camera.

Something I am still working on as an experiment editing on the phone verse computer with original traditional work. This believe it or not brought me back to a reflective period when taking a photography class I had to do everything manually (take out film, develop it, work in the dark room ect.) the composition of that photograph is a hit or mix if you didn't have the right exposure of light to the paper and taking a decent photo also plays a great role also.

Editing digitally on the computer is very different/new to me but rules still very much apply: paying close attention to detail no mater how slight or extravagant.

When working with my phone in editing the photo I thought it was quite good preforming the same experiment on microsoft office picture manager it was good too but they both had distinctive qualities. Playing around with the features in  the contrast mode showed different results and to my surprise some what changed my views rather being stuck in my old ways. On the phone the light tones came out much softer in texture and from the computer the lights rough and even the darker areas rougher like the black would appear burnt and unpleasing look to the eye giving the appearance of over exposure. Posting the original would have been too easy but I found with my shading alone it did not bring out depth in the inviting/dramatic black tone in the sheer fabric as it does in the edited version. The audience can be the judge of which they prefer. It was hard for me to choose which one to post

I will always love the old fashioned methods of how something is produced but learning off digital can be rewarding also if done right- it definitely broadens the perspective. This is an area I am willing to learn and explore more with good practice.
